People, who speak about being overweight and wanting to lose weight, many times fail to understand what it is all about. Generally weigh is connected to fat but that is not totally true.

If it is about knocking 15 pounds of the scale then it does not matter if you lose, fat, water or muscle. If your objective is to get rid of that bulge in the middle, you need to shake 15 pounds of fat as fast as possible

Whether or not you lose fat or pounds, it is important to know that water is a part of this loss. In fact, in the first days of any diet, water makes for the most loss in weight.

Many websites advices you how to loose 15 pounds fast. They fail however to warn you that loosing weight to fast can be bad for you health. This all depends on what you consider as being fast. Some people think a month is fast and others want fast to be only a few days.

The weight loss goal to lose 15 pounds in a month is realistic as this time is more realistic. Be careful though as if not correctly implemented it can be bad for your health.

The best way to lose 15 pounds fast is by eating foods such as meat that use more of your energy to digest it. You could eat nothing but meat, but that wouldn’t be healthy either. Your body needs a well-rounded diet that provides all the required nutrients. You can eat a well-balanced diet and still lose weight if you know which foods to choose.

Before you begin your weight loss program, measure your weight and fat content. Calipers (usually a part of weight loss or fitness Toolkit) are used to measure fat in different parts of the body. Keep these numbers handy, so that you can monitor your progress.

Here are some things you can do to lose 15 pounds fast.

1) Avoid foods that cause high water retention, like salt. By reducing your salt intake and you will lose weight.

2) Eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day.

3) Add foods such as chicken, meat, salmon, cheese, carrots, pumpkin, asparagus and beans to your diet as they take more energy to digest.

4) Drink water throughout the day as this helps boost your metabolism.

5) Exercise to build muscle, because muscle increases your metabolism naturally.

Stay with your program by taking regular measurement every week or two. Adjust your weight loss program if you don not get the desired results
