Pregnancy Timeline Support
July 22, 2010 Filed under pregnancy
I am 16 weeks pregnant with my first child. People react differently to pregnancy and early on in the pregnancy timeline I found it difficult. A lot of people do struggle so dont worry if you feel the same. I hope that by telling my story it will help you a bit.
When my partner and I found out I was pregnant we were over the moon. It was something that we both wanted. For the next couple of weeks I was quite anxious. I didn’t feel that pregnant to start with and I was worried something was wrong.
It didn’t take long before the pregnancy symptoms kick in. I have been told that the first 3 months is the hardest part of the pregnancy timeline and I think I agree. I was tired all the time and just lay on the couch after getting home from work until bedtime. You also have the morning sickness which can happen at any point of the day. Then you get the headaches and the backaches.
There were some days when I did feel all right and didn’t have to lie on the sofa all day. I would then panic, “what if something was wrong?” I would think again. As long as I felt pregnant I felt ok.
I was very nervous before going to my twelve week scan. Waiting in at the hospital was a nightmare. When I was called in and could see the baby on the screen I was very happy. He or she was jumping around on the screen and it was great to see.
As you know I am now at week 16 of the pregnancy timeline and I feel the best I have felt so far. I have energy and I’m not as grumpy (which my partner is happy about!). Now I am looking at things to buy for the baby. It is so much fun!
If you still are intrigued in how I am progressing then come to my pregnancy timeline blog. I would love for you to join me on my pregnancy timeline adventure.
