Most adults know how and today even children are being taught early how a baby is made. Some couples are even making the decision to opt for a gender selection pregnancy. This means that they choose the sex of their baby and in order to do this the basic biology you need to know is that the egg is always an “x” while the sperm can be both “x” and “y” and this is what determines the sex of your child. X=girl and y = boy!
There are influences at play which are able to dictate what gender your child will be, and the basics of gender selection mean these influences have to be in place for certain methods to work. Some influences will favor a male child, while others influence a female child. These influences include vaginal Ph (acid or base), the sex position used, timing of ovulation and even diet in the month before the conception.
The most important factor to consider is the timing of your ovulation. If you can calculate timing accurately and coordinate conception within the window of opportunity for favoring one gender over the other, you are able to influence the sex of your child.
There is a great deal of information available on what techniques can be used to influence the gender of your child. Try not to get too clinical, especially if it is your first child, it generally takes about 3 – 6 months to get pregnant, but if it has been longer than 12 months, it is best to consult with an OB/Gyn. He can also more than likely provide you with some good strategies for you become pregnant and even gender selection pregnancy ideas.
Couples today want to have a balanced family, and generally speaking do not want to have more than two children. Making sure you are able to give your children the very best does usually mean you have to make the best use of your income and resources. With, gender selection pregnancy this balance can be achieved more easily.
Gender selection is a very hot subject these days, and because of this some very silly prediction methods have crawled out of the woodwork. Make sure that the methods you use have been recommended by a medical professional. Because the only thing that your spouse is going to achieve by engaging in awkward acrobatics is a pain in the neck or elsewhere and this does not guarantee that you will have a baby boy or girl of your choosing.
Clinical methods that are 100% accurate have been and are still being developed that can assist with the gender selection of your child. For example PGD (preimplantation genetic diagnosis) and PGH (preimplantation genetic haplotyping), however these methods are both expensive and invasive and generally reserved where medically indicated. Some countries do not permit gender selection using these methods.
No matter how life gets it is important that you eat gout friendly foods as much as they can so that one day you can have at last a life to enjoy with you spouse.

Many couples who have had one child that was a boy will when deciding to have another would like the chance to have a little girl as well. For these couples there are a number of things that they can do which can increase their chances of having a daughter. In this article we offer some tips on how to conceive a girl naturally.
Tip 1 – To increase the chances of the sperm from the man carrying the female chromosome reaching the eggs first to fertilize them the levels of acidity in the woman’s vagina should be high. Sperm which contains the male chromosome dislike an acidic environment and will die off much more quickly so far less of them are likely to reach the eggs to fertilize them. The best way for a woman to increase the acidic levels in her vagina is by using douches or to eat foods that have high levels of acid in them.
Tip 2 – The other way in which women can improve the chances of her conceiving a girl with her partner is by increasing the amount of calcium she has in her diet. So she should be eating more dairy products including cheese, butter and milk. Also it is worth increasing the amounts of foods that have magnesium in them like spinach, black beans as well as other forms of green vegetables. If however a woman doesn’t find green vegetables appetising then taking a magnesium supplement instead will suffice.
Tip 3 – Something else that a woman can do which will again help to increase the chances of her having a baby girl rather than a boy is to limit her calorie intake. Women who choose to consume less than 2,000 calories each day have found that they have greatly increased their chances of conceiving a baby girl that they always wanted.
If a couple choose to use some of the ideas mentioned above then they really are improving their chances of having the little baby girl they always dreamed of. Not only are these ideas on how to conceive a girl simple to use but are unlikely to cause unwanted side effects in the woman because they are completely natural.

Have you been trying for awhile to have a little boy to be a baby brother in your family? You might be ready to give up thinking about how to have a baby boy and don’t want to be disappointed even though you love your daughters. But don’t give up just yet, even if you think your chances are zero to none.
As you know, it is the sperm from the male that determines what the gender of the baby is going to be. We know this because the egg in the woman contains only the X chromosome whereas sperm contains both X and Y chromosomes. You can use this knowledge of how to have a baby boy to increase your odds of conceiving a male child.
Y sperm is the one that swims faster to get to that egg. As long as the cervical environmental is right, the Y sperm has a better shot at fertilizing an egg. So theoretically boys have an edge over girls. But Y sperm is weaker and doesn’t have a long enough lifespan to make the arduous trip to the egg waiting in the fallopian tube.
To begin with when you have intercourse a couple days before the woman ovulates, then the chances of having a male decrease. This is due to the fact that Y sperm will die off before it has a chance to fertilize a waiting egg. On the other hand, X sperm can continue to live on for a few days even in a less than friendly uterine environmental to make its way to the egg.
If you are able to track your ovulation cycle, you can time intercourse to coincide with the release of an egg into the fallopian tube. There are various ways to monitor ovulation, including rising basal temperature or even better, ovulation testing kits which can detect changes in luteinizing hormone (LH) levels in the urine which in turn indicates ovulation is about to occur.
The future dad can do a few things to increase the possibility of conceiving a boy. Y sperm are known to be less resilient and don’t do well under hostile conditions. Some things that can help create a more friendly environment for sperm to develop are to wear loose underwear and clothes that don’t trap body heat. You may need to avoid heavy activity for a while as well. Smoking and drinking can also impact sperm count, so eliminating these habits can help.
Learning how to have a baby boy is something that you can do without expensive clinical procedures. Of course, if you’re having trouble conceiving, you should consult your doctor. Find out from your doctor if you should make changes in your diet to create a baby boy-friendly conditions in your body. With a bit of effort you may soon find yourselves the proud parents of an adorable baby boy.
