Is There Any Possible Way Of Getting Pregnant During Period?

Any woman may have a chance of getting pregnant during period. Pregnancy occurs when female ovaries release an egg. This egg merges with a male sperm in the process of having sex. This merging causes fertilization to take place and an embryo starts to form inside the womb.

For pregnancy to occur, the woman must be ovulating at the time meaning she is fertile. The menstrual cycle determines the period of ovulation. Menstruation is when the uterine wall is shed off if fertilization does not take place. This is shed off to make the uterus ready for the next ovulation. Menstruation gets out in form of blood through the vagina.

Ovulation happens about two weeks from the 1st day of onset of period. This mainly is for a woman who has a cycle of 28 days. The duration of the monthly cycle is the total days from when the period begins to a day prior to the beginning of the following period.

The time that the woman ovulates can however vary. Ovulation can occur between the tenth and nineteenth day after menstruation begins. There are ladies whose cycle is 21 days. There are others whose monthly cycle is 35 days or even more. For such women, calculation of their accurate monthly cycle may not be possible at times.

There is a possibility of conceiving during periods. The days before ovulation are counted using a monthly cycle of 28 days. It is assumed that ovulation will occur after a fortnight. However, this happens in less than 70% of the women. Even those with such regular cycles still experience changes occasionally.

Women having a cycle of 21 or 35 days may ovulate earlier or later than they expect. Therefore, no method is 100% in calculating the actual date of ovulation. A woman may therefore assume she is on her safe days while she isn’t.

On top of that, women are fertile for a period of about seven days every month. It is possible for sperms to live for about one week in the cervix while ovum can live for 24 hours or more. It means that she can become pregnant because the sperms can still be alive when the egg is released.

The length of the menstrual flow is usually 3 to 7 days. Some women menstruate for longer periods and this eats into their safe days. If such women have sex while they are menstruating, there are chances of getting pregnant.

There is a chance of getting pregnant during period for any woman who practices unprotected sex. It is not possible for her to be 100% certain of her infertile or fertile days. This is due to the fact that her ovulation period varies time after time.

These days, most women feel that forties are now new thirties, and it is not too late to have babies. However, after forty, the fertility level of a woman drops significantly, and risk of malformations in the fetus is higher. Delay in motherhood could be because of careers or relationships not working out, but medical reasons leave many women with the dilemma of getting pregnant in their forties. Some of the problems due to late conception could be caesarian delivery, inability to conceive due to reduced fertility, complications during delivery and so on.

Most couples trying to have baby in later parts of their lives find it extremely hard to conceive. As per the researches, more than 40% of the women get pregnant after the age of 40, and the percentage is going to increase. Much like teenage pregnancy, older women find themselves overwhelmed with several concerns and questions regarding their condition, including how is the pregnancy going to affect her health, how the father of the baby feel, what will it be like to raise a child at this stage of life and how the new born will impact the career and retirement plans. Dealing with pregnancy later in life leaves woman with many mixed emotions.

Some of the most common feelings of a woman are denial, fear and frustration. Symptoms of pregnancy for older women are quite similar to those of pregnant woman of lesser age, and many women confuse it with early menopause. Some of the symptoms of both pregnancy and menopause are missed periods, fatigue, mood swings, frequent urination or incontinence and tender and painful breasts. Some evidence also suggest that older mothers make the wiser parenting decisions, are more likely to breastfeed and provide a solid foundation to raise the family.

This is much easier said than done of course, especially for women who have been trying to conceive for a long time. Stress can be a definite cause of infertility problems, so make sure that you stay relaxed and keep yourself as healthy and happy as possible. Start up with yoga classes or practice breathing exercises which will help to relieve your stress and keep you calm. Research has actually proven otherwise and it really does work because it allows the sperm extra time to travel to the cervix.

Women should try to conceive and have their children before the age of thirty-five, because once they reach this age the number of eggs in their body has decreased significantly. The older a woman is the more troubles she is likely to have with getting pregnant. It’s best to have children between the ages of twenty and thirty. These are all tips that will be extremely helpful if you’re trying to get pregnant and stat a family.

Tips to Conceive a Baby

Are you looking for tips on how to conceive a baby easily? If this is the case there are a great many things that you can try. Firstly, you’ve got the know you are not alone as there are millions around the globe with difficulties getting pregnant. Once you have reached the end of this article you should know some useful tips on how to conceive a baby quickly and without resort to fertility drugs.

One of the major causes of infertility is a low sperm count in the male. If you have yet to visit a doctor, but have been trying to conceive for a while it is advisable to see a doctor who can tell you if your sperm count is adequate. If you find that the sperm count is not the problem, at least there is something to take off the list. If you find out that sperm count is the problem, not to worry, there are plenty of things to try and remedy it. The very first thing that all men trying to conceive a baby should do is to stop drinking caffeine and its probably a good idea to test if there are deficiencies in the body such as zinc. Lacking in essential vitamins and minerals can be a reason for a lowered sperm count. Smoking is another way to drastically decrease your sperm count.

There is a sexual position which is more conducive to conception. The missionary position is the most conception-friendly (due to publishing restrictions I can’t go into the details here but details are available on our website).

After sex it is important for the woman to lay in bed for about fifteen or twenty minutes. Putting your feet in the air or anything elaborate like that is not really necessary, just stay horizontal for a while. Not using the restroom is also important for at least half an hour or thereabouts after sex.

Finding your most fertile time in the cycle through the basal temperature method can actually really impede conception because normally when a rise in temperature is noted, the egg is well and truly dead by this time. It is commonly held that the basal temperature can tell you your most fertile times - even doctors tell you this method is good. This is totally incorrect! Basal temperature readings can be used to ascertain many things - but your fertile time is not one of them.

One of the best tips on how to conceive fast by knowing the most fertile time in your cycle is to check your cervical fluid and start to chart the changes in that. The last day of the type of cervical fluid that looks like eggwhites is when you are most fertile - if you can’t determine an eggwhite mucus, then look for the wettest type of fluid, or a wet sensation.

Without a healthy diet and good exercise routine the chances of falling pregnant are even lower. There is no understating the importance of healthy food and regular exercise if you have been having trouble conceiving. Many couple neglect their diets in the stress of trying for a baby, but (especially for the woman) your body needs to be in great shape in order for it to allow a pregnancy, and be able to sustain a healthy baby.

By starting to observe the daily changes in your cervical fluids, you can start to understand where you are in your monthly cycle. If you keep doing this for a couple of months you can start to understand your cycle much better, and actually recognise the signs of ovulation and your most fertile times and thereby have a much more accurate measure of when the best time to start trying for a pregnancy is.

How To Get Pregnant Fast In The Most Natural Way Possible

Introduction: Some women are generously blessed with the gift of pregnancy without even asking for it, while a part of the female population face the opposite. Try as they might, some women just have a hard time getting pregnant. This is why plenty turn to outside help, and here are some helpful tips that can help one become pregnant through natural ways.

Difficulty: 3

Things You’ll Need: A partner, prenatal vitamins, supplements and minerals, healthy food

Step 1. Find a partner. Of course, you can’t get pregnant alone, so make sure that you find a partner. Whether you decide to raise the baby together with your partner or not is all up to you. If you choose to simply get pregnant and raise your baby by yourself, your partner doesn’t necessarily have to be a boyfriend or a husband.

Step 2. Are you using any form of ? If you are, then now is the right time to stop using it as well. The body takes some time to re adjust itself from the use of contraceptives, thus it is extremely important that you stop as soon as you decide that you want to get pregnant. Depo - Povera users, for example, have to wait for months before they eventually get pregnant. Some users, however, become pregnant right away - so the case really depends.

Barrier methods, like male and female condoms however, may have direct effects when they are ceased.

Step 3. Start living healthy. This step does not only apply to you but for your partner as well. It is very important to rid the body of toxins, and avoid stresses that can pose problems with fertility. Here are some things that you and your partner can do:

- Eat a balanced diet. Include foods that are high in anti oxidant content, vitamins and minerals . Choose organic food over the normal ones, since organic foods are free from pesticides, which are linked to fertility problems as well.

- Give Up With The Cigarrettes. Stop smoking right away. Smoking hits two birds with one stone when it comes to concieving since it affects the woman’s ovulation and the man’s sperm count.

- Any form of caffeine should be avoided. Caffeine also has detrimental effects on a woman’s chances of getting pregnant. Too much caffeine (more than two cups of coffee or its equivalent for tea and soda) can increase a woman’s chances of having a miscarriage.

- Exercising is as crucial as all the other factors there. Proper exercise keeps the body fit and also prepares the body for pregnancy. Exercising regularly de-stresses the body and helps you have better sleep at night.

- Sleep is also a very important factor, as this increases or normalizes the levels of the hormone leptin, which plays an important role in a woman’s ovulation.

Step 4. Vitamins, Minerals and supplements are just as essential. Take them while you’re planning to get pregnant, and continue taking them during pregnancy. Folic acid is a very important vitamin, so take the right amounts. Folic acid helps in the baby’s healthy development inside the womb as well.

Don’t forget to take herbal supplements to balance your hormone levels as well. Calcium, zinc, magnesium and vitamin B6a are essential vitamins and minerals that sustain the balance of the hormones. There are also herbs that are associated with the balance of the hormones, and among these are:

- ginkgo biloba

- Chamomile

- ginkgo biloba

- saw palmetto

- licorice root.

Visit your health care provider first before taking in any supplement.

Step 5. Record Your Menstruation and Ovulation Time. Ovulation time is usually in the middle of the menstrual cycle, but you can determine yours by determining the length of your menstruation each month. If you menstruate regularly and starts every 28 days, then it is reasonable to assume that you ovulate around 14 days right after you start menstruating. This can vary among women, though depending on the regularity or irregularity of her menstrual cycle.

Step 6. Have regular and unprotected sex a couple of days before and around the time that you ovulate. Remember that sperm cells survive for 48 to 72 hours inside the reproductive tract, so have sex on the days leading up to her ovulation time (which would be days 12 to 14 of the menstrual cycle for an average woman.)

- While not prover scientifically, some positions are said to increase the chances of pregnancy because it puts the sperm closer to the woman’s cervix. The missionary position with pillows underneath the woman’s hips is just as example. Also, you should try to stay in bed for at least thrity minutes after having unprotected sex just so as to increase your possibilities of getting pregnant.

- Don’t stress out while having sex. Don’t kill the intimacy of the moment just because you’re racing to make a baby.

Step 7. Take a pregnancy test if you miss your period.

Step 8. If you don’t get pregnant, repeat the following steps over again.

Tips:

- Consistency Diligence is key, so don’t give up on your first try. Continuous effort is very important.

- Don’t kill the mood in the rush to make a baby. Sex should always be intimate and pleasurable, so relax.

- Consult your doctor before trying to get pregnant, before taking in vitamins or supplements for your pregnancy endeavors.

Warnings:

- There are pregnancy myths all over, and some can even be dangerous instead of helpful. Inform yourself before following any unsolicited (or even solicited) advice.

- Have yourself and your partner tested (and treated) for any infection or disease before you start having unprotected sex.

Infertility in couples is where one or more are not able to produce results to get pregnant. Infertility also includes a womans inability to make it through the third trimester in a pregnancy. You can get pregnant and there is help for couples who are dealing with infertility. Women with regular periods and ovulate before and after their periods are considered to be fertile where women with irregular periods and do not ovulate before and after each of their periods is considered to be infertile. Infertility in couples is defined as the inability to get pregnant after a year of intercourse without using birth control.

Couples that have never been able to get pregnant are considered to have primary infertility and couples that have experienced a successful pregnancy but are no longer able to become pregnant is considered to have secondary infertility. Throughout the world one out of every seven couples have problems with infertility. As women get older the chance of becoming pregnant will decrease. The number of Americans that experience infertility is close to six million. The percentage of women having infertility problems in a couple is about fifty percent. The percentage of men that have infertility problems in a couple is about forty percent. Some of the most common problems with infertility are age, problems ovulating, blockage, uterian problems, tubal ligation, and TB.

Most couples will seek medical help if they have been unable to conceive after a long period of time. An infertility specialist will be consulted and he will run tests on both parties in the couple and determine the causes or reasons behind the infertility. Both people in the couple will be asked questions about sexual activity and how they believe intercourse is done. At this point if the specialist is unable to determine what is causing the problem he will order more tests to be done. He will test the woman’s temp, how she ovulates, take x-rays of the tubes and the uterus, and he will perform and laparoscopy. He will test the man’s semen count and analyze the sperm.

85-90% of all infertility cases are treated using the conventional methods which include drug therapy and surgery. Other complicated surgeries such as IVF are done for the remaining couples. It is said that among all the couples that visit a doctor for treatment, 20% of them conceive without any medical help. This might be due to stress and anxiety that a couple experiences regarding the inability to conceive before consulting a doctor. Fifty percent of statistics on infertile couples conceive within two years of the treatment. It is reported that several factors can increase the chances of infertility, such as smoking, drinking, drugs, environmental hazards, medications and surgeries, treatment for cancer, health conditions and problems such as mumps, hormone imbalances and kidney problems.

The treatments for infertility are different for both sexes in a couple. Medications are available today and you should only use the medications after you have consulted a specialist first. The most commonly used treatment is the fertility kit.

Gender Selection Pregnancy Is Possible

December 4, 2009 by Kathy Forcey

Most adults know how and today even children are being taught early how a baby is made. Some couples are even making the decision to opt for a gender selection pregnancy. This means that they choose the sex of their baby and in order to do this the basic biology you need to know is that the egg is always an “x” while the sperm can be both “x” and “y” and this is what determines the sex of your child. X=girl and y = boy!

There are influences at play which are able to dictate what gender your child will be, and the basics of gender selection mean these influences have to be in place for certain methods to work. Some influences will favor a male child, while others influence a female child. These influences include vaginal Ph (acid or base), the sex position used, timing of ovulation and even diet in the month before the conception.

The most important factor to consider is the timing of your ovulation. If you can calculate timing accurately and coordinate conception within the window of opportunity for favoring one gender over the other, you are able to influence the sex of your child.

There is a great deal of information available on what techniques can be used to influence the gender of your child. Try not to get too clinical, especially if it is your first child, it generally takes about 3 - 6 months to get pregnant, but if it has been longer than 12 months, it is best to consult with an OB/Gyn. He can also more than likely provide you with some good strategies for you become pregnant and even gender selection pregnancy ideas.

Couples today want to have a balanced family, and generally speaking do not want to have more than two children. Making sure you are able to give your children the very best does usually mean you have to make the best use of your income and resources. With, gender selection pregnancy this balance can be achieved more easily.

Gender selection is a very hot subject these days, and because of this some very silly prediction methods have crawled out of the woodwork. Make sure that the methods you use have been recommended by a medical professional. Because the only thing that your spouse is going to achieve by engaging in awkward acrobatics is a pain in the neck or elsewhere and this does not guarantee that you will have a baby boy or girl of your choosing.

Clinical methods that are 100% accurate have been and are still being developed that can assist with the gender selection of your child. For example PGD (preimplantation genetic diagnosis) and PGH (preimplantation genetic haplotyping), however these methods are both expensive and invasive and generally reserved where medically indicated. Some countries do not permit gender selection using these methods.

No matter how life gets it is important that you eat gout friendly foods as much as they can so that one day you can have at last a life to enjoy with you spouse.

How Do You Get Pregnant

Getting pregnant is a numbers game and getting pregnant also means getting very lucky. In order to get pregnant, you must do some effort with your partner to increase your odds of conceiving. You want to get pregnant but do you exactly know how pregnancy happens? Before pregnancy can be declared official, it has to undergo several processes and several stages.

Pregnancy happens when semen enters a female vagina which happens during unprotected intercourse. The sperm then unites with egg if a woman has ovulated. Ovulation happens once a month. The sperm and egg however have a lifespan.

When the egg and the sperm unite, they form a zygote. The zygote then in five days turns into clump of cells which are called blastocyst. The blastocyst then will travel to the uterus where it will attach itself. This is called implantation.

When the egg and the sperm unite, they form a zygote. The zygote then in five days turns into clump of cells which are called blastocyst. The blastocyst then will travel to the uterus where it will attach itself. This is called implantation. Once this happens, it can be said that the pregnancy has officially started. In here, the blastocyst will divide, multiply, and grow and develop into an embryo. After a couple, of months, the embryo then will develop into a fetus. The fetus then will grow through three trimesters until you deliver out your baby.

However, if the sperm and the egg cell fail to unite, the egg dies and the uterine lining disintegrates. The blood and the tissue from the uterus will then passed out of the body through the vagina. This is the reason then why a woman has her menstruation monthly.

Couples around the world are making use of gender selection methods to help them conceive the gender of their choice. Many couples often feel guilty for wanting a specific gender but this preference is becoming much more prevalent. Here are 3 tips to conceiving a girl that has proved successful for thousands of couples.

1. Time intercourse a few days prior to ovulation

The Shettles method is an extremely popular method which states that the gender of the baby depends on the timing of intercourse. To get pregnant with a girl, you will need to make love with your partner 2 to 3 days prior to the start of the woman’s ovulation cycle. Therefore, the woman must know when her ovulating cycle really well or use prediction kits to help her.

2. Increase pH levels of the reproductive environment

The sperm carrying the male gene cannot survive in acidic environments whereas the female sperm wouldn’t have a problem. To use this to your advantage, it is strongly recommended to monitor pH levels of the reproductive environment. Increasing the pH levels can be done by making use of douches in addition to including foods high in magnesium in the woman’s diet.

3. Be patient and take your time

The one factor that often prevents many couples from conceiving the gender of choice is the time and patience it takes. Conceiving A Baby Girl Naturally - 3 Methods On How To Get Pregnant With A Girl

August 8, 2009 by Grace Young

The topic of conceiving a baby girl has become a popular topic in recent years. A recent report suggested that gender preference is steadily on the rise and is more prevalent than most realize. The following are 3 high effective methods to getting pregnant with a girl.

1. Increase pH levels of the reproductive environment

It’s important to note that the sperm of the male determines the gender of the baby so the sperm carrying the X chromosome will need to fertilize the egg if you want a girl. You can easily give the female sperm an advantage by increasing acidic levels in the reproductive environment as the male sperm are more likely to get eliminated. Increasing these levels can be done by using douches prior to intercourse in addition to consuming foods high in magnesium.

2. Keep the sexual position in mind

If you want to conceive a girl, then the best positions are those that have shallow penetration such as missionary. The entrance of the vagina is naturally more acidic so depositing the sperm there will cause the male sperm to quickly die off. This helps to increase the odds of having a baby girl.

3. The woman should not have an orgasm during intercourse

The woman should not have an orgasm during intercourse as this releases fluids that lowers the pH levels in the reproductive environment. This will naturally make the womb more alkaline which is more likely to result in conceiving a baby boy. It’s important to signal to each other during intercourse when one is about to have an orgasm.

Combining these methods above has been shown to give high success rates for many couples around the world. Best of all, these tips are completely natural and can be implemented right in your own. Just remember that you only have one shot at this as the baby’s gender is set once the egg is fertilized.
