* Hemroid symptoms are common to most nuts, coffee, alcohol, food tends to get worse all the hot dishes. One solution may be keep track of your diet to learn if you are eating something that is causing your hemroids irritation and then see if you get relief by eliminating that food for awhile.

* Apply ice to the area for ten minutes, then warm the area with a moist towel for twenty.

* Using unscented baby wipes is a better way then wiping or rubbing after bowel movement.

* Just sit or stand in one place without moving much.

* Bed rest will alleviate pressure on the sphincter muscles and allow your hemroids to heal if you are having a horrible flare up of your piles.

* Some find relief by taking a sitz bath several times a day, to do so you just soak the area in warm water for about 15 minutes.

* Cotton undergarments absorb all moisture (even from sweating), which will result in worsening hemroids.

* Since sweating can aggravate hemroid symptoms, you should wear cotton undergarments to help your skin stay dry.

* Zinc is considered to be a skin protectant which is commonly found in the baby diaper rash cream and which could be applied even for both to protect the delicate anal skin and as well as to prevent the itching from it too.

* Suppositories, such as Tucks and Preparation H are a hemroid treatment to be taken with extreme caution because they can cause damage to anal tissue with longer term use, and therefore should not be used for more then 7-10 days. Smoking is Like A Smoking Gun For Heart Disease

Ignorance is no excuse to suffer from heart disease associated with smoking. For years doctors have tried to preach the dangers of smoking to the public, making the dangers widely known. Some people still choose to not take these warnings seriously. You may think it will never happen to you but is it really worth the risk?

Among the thousands of chemicals in cigarettes at least 60 of them are considered toxic to our bodies. Each time you inhale you are allowing these toxins to flow freely through your blood stream. Over time your body starts to show the affects of the toxins as your arteries begin to harden. Once this has happened your body is open to suffering from heart attacks, heart failure, and instant death.

Your body doesn’t care if you’ve smoked one pack of cigarettes, or three hundred, yet there are people that still ask if I smoke only two cigarettes a day am I still at risk? That’s like someone asking if I stand on the train tracks between 1pm and 2 pm am I still at risk of being hit by a speeding train.

There is no time limit on how long it will take your body to harden your arteries caused by smoking; this is why you should never start smoking to begin with. There is a higher risk factor for those who already have heart disease in their family.

Smoking not only increases your chances of heart disease, but also those whom you’ve smoked around. Each time you light a cigarette because you have that urge that you just have to have one think about all of the innocent people around you that you are exposing to your second hand smoke, they too will eventually suffer the same risks associated with your smoking. Is it really worth lighting up and getting that quick fix to risk the health of everyone you care about?

Women that smoke and take certain medications are at a higher risk of getting heart disease or suffering other unwanted medical conditions. The toxins in cigarettes that contribute to the build up of fatty deposits in the arteries are not listed on individual packs of cigarettes, because if they were people would be less likely to smoke knowing what they are inhaling.

You may choose to put yourself at risk of heart disease due to your smoking, but you should also consider those closest to you when you next consider when and where you are going to light that next cigarette. Quitting smoking is the only way to free you from the potential health risks associated with the habit.

Smoking as a hobby has been in existence for generations, and different cultures have had it for various reasons. But probably the most common reason has been the macho outlook of Hollywood celebrities taking that puff in a movie and the hero worship has led to many people taking it up. Others got hooked through experimentation and curiosity, while others just love the cool puff and the feel of nicotine-laden smoke in their bodies. Whatever the reason, the truth of the matter is that smoking is hazardous in the long run and quitting is inevitable. But is there a way to quit forever that relaxing but dangerous puff?

Yes it is entirely possible. But even before we look at the ways in which you can stop smoking, it amazes me how people continually smoke even after the numerous warnings. The packets in which you buy the cigarettes is clearly labeled of the danger of smoking but you still do smoke. Health experts point out the numerous health risks posed by smoking like lung cancer but still that is not a deterrent. A funny species, man is! Every year, collectively people spend a lot of money on tobacco nicotine in proportions that can easily dwarf the health budgetary allocations of some governments in the world!

It is not all gloom though, as more and more people are coming out every year and expressing their desire to quit the habit. Sadly, most of them are ignorant of the proper ways of how to quit. Large multi-national companies know that quitting is not easy. They have thus taken advantage of this and capitalized on it to make even more money. They now have quit-smoking aids which in the real sense do not work! These aids are quite a number, from nicotine gums, patches, sprays to pills. In fact, studies have revealed that nicotine patches work a paltry 11% of all given trials.

You must have tremendously psychological willpower in order to successfully kick the habit. This is the first step. Will power goes a long way in determining whether you will successful when trying to stop smoking. The second step is to put away everything that has to do with cigarettes like lighters, ashtrays which only serve to awake your desire your smoke; so throw them out if you have to. You must always try to keeping the stop smoking process as natural as possible; keep yourself busy with constructive tasks so that you do not think about smoking.

Once you realize that stopping this bad habit actually lies with you as opposed to the fallacy that big pharmaceutical and multinational companies do, you will find that the fuss about the impossibility of quitting was all a storm in a teacup.
